Lyft Offering Free Rides In The 'Ghostbusters' Ecto-1 In Boston

BOSTON (CBS) – Deciding who you're gonna call for a ride somewhere in Boston this weekend? Lyft has a scary good promotion.

The ride-sharing service is recognizing the release of the new "Ghostbusters" movie by offering free rides in the Ecto-1 in Boston and other major cities.

Lyft users just need to tap in the app to request a car in "Ghost Mode" for the chance to get a free ride in the tricked-out vehicle.

There will also be Hi-C Ecto Cooler and Ghostbusters-themed Twinkies in the backseat.

The promotion runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
