Chick-Fil-A Is America's Favorite Fast Food Restaurant, Report Says
WASHINGTON (CBS) – When it comes to fast food, Americans love their chicken sandwiches.
The new American Customer Satisfaction Index, a compilation of thousands of interviews with consumers, finds that Chick-fil-A gets the highest marks from diners.
Sales at the chicken chain hit $6 billion in 2015.
Last year's runner-up Chipotle, fell to the middle of the pack in the rankings after a year of bad headlines over E. coli and norovirus outbreaks at some of its locations. Sales were down more than 20 percent in 2016, the report notes.
Coming in at last place once again is McDonald's.
