The Golf Club: David Feherty Explains What To Expect From His Live Show

BOSTON (CBS) -- This week's edition of The Golf Club was a big one, as Hardy welcomed David Feherty to the program.

But first, PGA teaching professional Tom Gillis discussed his swing philosophies, the mentality required to develop the right swing for you, and different techniques to improve your game. He teaches at the Bradford Country Club and Garrison Golf Central, both in Haverhill.

Then, Hardy and Golfsmith CEO Steve Show showed off Golfsmith's new innovations in the third and final part of the GameChanger series. From the M2 Fairway Wood, boasting a brand-new carbon-composite crown and speed pocket to increase ball speed, to the silky-smooth and comfortable 2UNDR underwear, to the Oakley Flak 2.0 Prizm Sunglasses, which display beautiful HD clarity, contrast and color.

And finally, it was time to talk to Feherty. It seems like everyone loves David Feherty.  He's witty, honest, and a fresh voice in tournament coverage and on his own Golf Channel show.  So what would a David Feherty live theater show be like?  Hardy finds out when he talks to the man himself about Feherty Off Tour, coming to the Berklee Performance Center on Sunday, Nov. 20.

"It's aimed at people with low standards, basically, which is my demographic," Feherty joked. "It's been a tremendous outlet for me. It's a two-hour show, and to say that it's stand-up might be a little misleading. It's more anecdotal. And I tell a lot of other people's stories as well ... because if I don't tell these stories, then they'll die. They'll just go away."

Tickets for the tour are available at FehertyOffTour.com. Listen to the full interview below:
