Surveillance Video Captures Canton Convenience Store Holdup

CANTON (CBS) -- Canton Police are on the lookout for a pair bold thieves who held up a variety store this weekend, and took things to the extreme.

Store surveillance video shows two suspects bursting into Andalus Variety Mart in broad daylight Sunday. One man appears to show a gun. Police say the store clerk told them he was handcuffed.

The clerk was not hurt, but the thieves got away with cash and possibly the victim's wallet. Somehow the victim was able to call 911 despite being restrained by handcuffs.

"It sure is a brazen attack obviously we're looking for the public's help anybody that saw anything or might know the parties involved to give us assistance obviously they're dangerous people," said Canton Police Chief Ken Berkowitz.

Police are looking for two male suspects who appeared to escape in a silver 4-door BMW.
