5 Hurt In Apparent Road Rage Brawl At Quincy Intersection

QUINCY (CBS) -- Five people were hurt in an apparent road rage fight that occurred at the intersection of Farrington Street and Elmwood Avenue Sunday morning.

A resident nearby was watching television when he heard the incident.

"I heard some screaming and i thought it was kids playing around but it kept on going," the resident, Keith Anderson, said. "Came outside and I'm like, oh great."

Eight people, four in each of the two cars involved, came out of their cars and began to fight over a fender bender. One woman was pregnant.

Anderson said those involved live in the neighborhood. He took a photo of the incident after he called police.

"I started screaming at them to knock it off," he said.

Four people from one car and the pregnant woman from the other were taken to the hospital.

Anderson said many drivers are liberal with the traffic rules at the intersection.

"I am always yelling at people to stop slow down," he said.
