Bella Bond's Dad Charged With Shoplifting In Revere
REVERE (CBS) -- The biological father of slain Bella Bond is facing shoplifting charges after he allegedly stole two pocketbooks from a Revere building on Friday.
Police say Joe Amoroso confessed to stealing the pocketbooks. He has been charged with larceny from a building over $250.
Investigators did not say what time or what building the items were allegedly stolen from.
Amoroso, who posted bond about three hours following his arrest, is expected to be arraigned on Monday.
In December 2015, Amoroso was arrested on a similar charge after he allegedly stole items from a Boston store.
Rachelle Bond, Bella's mother, and her boyfriend Michael McCarthy are charged in connection with the two-year-old's death.
No additional information was immediately available.
