BOSTON (CBS) - Ronald Reagan was elected President of the United States in 1980. But many forget that twelve years earlier, in 1968, he became the biggest threat to steal the GOP nomination from Richard Nixon. Author Gene Kopelson joins Dan in studio to talk about Reagan's first run for President, and how it affected the rest of his political career and legacy.
