Bruins Prospect Lauzon Returns From Scary Neck Laceration
BOSTON (CBS) -- Just one month after suffering a frightening neck laceration during a game, Boston Bruins defense prospect Jeremy Lauzon made his return to the ice for the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Lauzon returned just in time for the Huskies' first game in the Memorial Cup playoffs, which awards the Canadian Hockey League championship. The Huskies won the QMJHL championship, which earned them a spot in the four-team round-robin tournament.
On April 18, Lauzon was rushed to the hospital after taking a skate blade to his neck and bleeding profusely. He was "out of danger" on the night of the injury and has now made a full recovery.
