Driver Hurt After Hitting Tree, Rollover Crash In Edgartown

EDGARTOWN (CBS) -- A driver was hurt in a rollover crash early Saturday morning in Edgartown.

A police officer tried to make a traffic stop around 2 a.m. on West Tisbury Road, but the vehicle sped away on Bennett Way, according to the Edgartown Police Facebook page.

Moments later, police found the vehicle had rollover over onto its roof after slamming into a tree. The driver was taken to a local hospital after suffering minor injuries.

As of Saturday morning, no arrests had been made. The crash remains under investigation.
