BOSTON (CBS) – Two flight attendants were hurt during a flight from Boston to Chicago as it hit strong turbulence.
Southwest Airlines Flight 147 from Boston to Chicago’s Midway Airport was forced to turn around and head back to Logan Airport early Tuesday morning because of the turbulence.
“The flight landed uneventfully in Boston where Customers were deplaned with no serious injuries reported,” a Southwest spokesperson told WBZ-TV in an email.
“The Flight Crew was taken to a local hospital for further medical attention. “
Another flight crew was brought in and the 133 passengers continued on their way back to Chicago, about four-and-a-half hours behind schedule.
