A renewed debate over homework. Are kids getting too much homework? Or is it necessary to help them excel? Many school districts are now following national guidelines to limit homework. No more than 20 minutes per night for students through second grade and no more than 60 minutes per night for students in grades three to six. Some research suggests homework makes children hate school. And some parents argue too much homework also limits family time.

What do you think? Are students getting too much homework? How much is too much?
