UFC President Dana White On Mayweather - McGregor: 'If Floyd Is Serious, We Could Talk'

BOSTON (CBS) -- If there's one thing UFC president Dana White knows about the retired Floyd Mayweather, it's that he loves money. And if there's one thing he knows about UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor ... it's that he loves money.

So if truckloads of money came into the equation, would Mayweather come out of retirement to face McGregor in a boxing match, or possibly even the Octagon? White told Toucher & Rich that while such an unprecedented event might be "impossible," money talks and you can't definitively rule something like that out.

"It's a fun thing to talk about, but that would be a tough one," said White.

"If Floyd is serious ... we could talk."

White definitely won't rule out a return to the boxing ring in general for Mayweather, who retired with an undefeated 49-0 record and earned $700 million in his 19-year career.

"The one thing I do know about Floyd Mayweather is he likes money if there's enough hanging out there he'll fight again," he said.

White also said that he hopes for Ronda Rousey to return to fighting before the end of the year. Listen to the full interview below:
