Man Fatally Struck By MBTA Commuter Rail Train In Holbrook
HOLBROOK (CBS) -- A 25-year-old man was fatally stuck by a MBTA Commuter Rail train on Sunday night in Holbrook.
First responders were called to the Union Street grade crossing area around 8:30 p.m. after receiving a report of a person possibly hit by a train, according to the Transit Police website.
The man, who has not been identified by police, was trespassing on the Middleboro Line train tracks before being struck, investigators say. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say they do not suspect foul play. The death remains under investigation by police.
