Has Hanley Ramirez Made Himself Tradeable?

BOSTON (CBS) -- A season ago, Hanley Ramirez's contract looked like an albatross that the Red Sox would have to carry for the full term. But now, Ramirez has gotten off to a surprising start in 2016, playing solid defense at first base and generally looking engaged.

Does this mean that Ramirez has made himself more tradeable? Adam Jones and Rich Keefe went over Hanley's start and what it means for his immediate or long-term future with the Red Sox. Jones hopes Dave Dombrowski makes a big move to get rid of Ramirez at this point, even if he can't get a great return.

"I don't know what you could get, but this could be your one opportunity to move that $22 million a year," said Jones. "I'm not sure it's going to get any better - if anything, given his history it's about to get worse, and quick - so this is your chance, seize on it."

Keefe disagrees, saying the Red Sox should hold onto Hanley and wait for his power to come around due to their relative lack of pop from the right side. But if anyone has trade value right now, it's Hanley Ramirez - certainly not Pablo Sandoval.
