Police Arrest Suspect Involved In Shooting Near Rowley Shopping Center

ROWLEY (CBS) – Police have arrested a 16-year-old suspect in a shooting near a shopping center in Rowley.

On Sunday night, a man went into the Rowley Police station reporting that he had been shot at in a wooded area.

Minutes later, an 18-year-old man told police he had been shot once in the leg.

Both men are recovering.

The Rowley teen turned himself in Wednesday night. He faces several charges including assault with intent to murder and carrying a firearm without a license.

The suspect is being held at a juvenile detention facility and will be arraigned on Thursday. His bail was set at $500,000.
