2 Police Officers Injured At Boston Public Library

BOSTON (CBS) -- Two police officers were hurt while responding to a call to remove someone from the Boston Public Library Monday morning.

The officers sustained their injuries, which were non-life-threatening, while trying to make an arrest around 11:44 a.m., according to police, who would not say how the two were hurt.

One officer could be seen being taken out of the library at the corner of Boylston and Dartmouth streets on a stretcher.

No other information is available at this point in the investigation.
