Police cited the driver for negligent operation of a motor vehicle, texting while driving, marked lanes violation and speeding.

Dozens of Massachusetts drivers have been cited for texting behind the wheel in recent weeks, as the state has launched a campaign to crack down on distracted driving.

"This incident is a strong reminder of the dangers of texting and distracted driving," West Bridgewater police said. "Please put your phones down and pay attention to driving."
