DEDHAM (CBS) – A flying piece of metal shattered a car windshield on Interstate 95, but the driver and his two young sons were not hurt.

Jonathan Naumowicz of Dedham told WBZ-TV he was driving on 95 north in Canton Wednesday morning when suddenly he saw this object coming straight at his vehicle.

It broke the windshield and he was covered in glass dust. The metal landed on the driver’s side floor.

Naumowicz’s two little boys, ages 4 and 2, were in the back seat at the time.

A Good Samaritan came over and called police for Naumowicz.

It’s not clear where the metal fragment came from.
