NFL Draft Preview Show: Any Franchise Quarterbacks Available?
BOSTON (CBS) -- With the NFL Draft just a few weeks away, 98.5 The Sports Hub's Bob Socci continues to get you ready with the NFL Draft Preview Show.
On Sunday's show, CBS Sports' senior football writer Will Brinson joined Socci to discuss the big trade between the L.A. Rams and Tennessee Titans, with Los Angeles acquiring the first overall pick in the draft for a package of future picks. Brinson discussed which quarterback would fit the Rams the best -- Carson Wentz or Jared Goff -- and which team could make a big jump with an impressive showing in the first round:
Sports Illustrated's Pete Thamel also joined the program to share his thoughts on the upcoming class of quarterbacks. Thamel isn't impressed, and doesn't think a franchise would be able to build around any of the quarterbacks available:
Socci also welcomed Phil Perry of Comcast SportsNet New England to the show to break down everything Patriots, including their needs entering the draft and surprise release of Dominique Easley:
