CHATHAM (CBS) – Have you ever seen so many seals in one place?

Aaron Knight from Norwell captured video over the weekend of a seemingly endless line of seals taking over a beach on Monomoy Island off Chatham.

Nearly 300,000 people have viewed the video shot from a plane.

“Miles and miles of continuous blubber,” Knight wrote. “It’s getting out of control.”

He says he’s been watching Cape Cod seals from the air for years, but has never seen a display like this.

With so many seals, this could signal a busy season for Great White sharks on the Cape.
