PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (CBS) – It was a good thing one New Hampshire driver decided to take a look under the hood.

In a Facebook post, Portsmouth Police said a resident called Animal Control Officer Bonnie Robinson after finding a squirrel’s nest inside the engine compartment of her car.

“As you can see, it was quite a nest!” police said.

Robinson took the baby squirrels to the Center for Wildlife where they can be cared for.

“This week is ACO Appreciation Week and the PPD certainly appreciates the work (Robinson) does for our community every day,” police added.
