Daily Talker: Fair Punishment?

A South Carolina high school teacher says she was forced to resign after a student took her phone, found a nude photo of her and circulated it. Leigh Anne Arthur told news outlets she left her cellphone on her desk as she monitored the halls between classes. She says a 16-year-old boy took her phone and then used his phone to take pictures of a nude image on her phone. Arthur says she took that photo to send to her husband for Valentine's Day. The interim superintendent says Arthur was in the wrong because the phone was unlocked. No students have been disciplined, but a police investigation is underway. Arthur says she has forgiven the teen, but still believes he should be held responsible for his actions. Students have started a petition to get their teacher back. They say this was a "blatant attack of her privacy." What do you think? Who is at fault? Who should be held responsible?
