Wayland Tops List Of Safest Mass. Towns

BOSTON (CBS) – For the second year in a row, Wayland has been named the safest town in Massachusetts.

SafeWise says Wayland "is a modern-day melting pot that represents the best of America's values."

The second safest town was Norfolk, followed by Boxford and Hopkinton. Sudbury rounds out the top five.

The list was based on FBI crime data.
