Nick Kroll, John Mulaney Of 'Oh, Hello!' Join Toucher & Rich, Recap Fred's On-Stage Performance

BOSTON (CBS) -- Fred Toucher is a man who makes a living speaking into a microphone to the large masses, but on Tuesday night when he had to step on stage in front of 1,200 people as part of Nick Kroll's and John Mulaney's "Oh, Hello" show at the Wilbur, Fred was nervous.

"Not nervous like when I knew I had to fly to Paris over the ocean. I was able to take a nap yesterday, but I was nervous-excited, but I had no information," Fred said on Wednesday's show. "All said and done, I didn't come out of there embarrassed, and that's very rare. I'm not being self-deprecating. I didn't wake up this morning going, 'Oh crap, what happened?'"

After Fred shared his story, the stars of the show joined the program. Both Kroll and Mulaney showed concern for Fred's health after he actually ate the tuna on stage before getting into character as George St. Geegland and Gil Faizon.

It was certainly one of the more memorable interviews in the show's history, and it included lines like this: "You ever snort sand from Revere Beach? It's 85 percent 1979 comedian cocaine."
