The Decathlon To Be Held At Brandeis University

BOSTON (CBS) - Boston athletes, get ready to test yourself in a whole new arena.

Registration begins Thursday, January 28th for The Decathlon to be held July 23rd and 24th at Brandeis University.

Until now, the competition's only been held in New York, but this year, it expands to five cities including Boston.

The Decathlon will feature team and individual competitions.

Events include a 400 meter run, football throw, bench press, 40-yard dash and more.

Spectators are more than welcome.

The Decathlon in Boston raises money for pediatric cancer research and treatment at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
