Holliston Police said that at about 4:20 a.m. two people, believed to be men, were caught on surveillance camera breaking into Vape City Smoke Shop.

The men used a tire iron to smash the front window of the store.

This morning, at approximately 4:20AM, the Vape City Smoke Shop was broken into. Two parties, believed to be male, used a black tire iron to smash the front window of the store. The two individuals then entered the store through the broken window. According to the store owner and surveillance video, the suspects were in the store for less than 15 seconds and no items were stolen. At 4:55AM, as our midnight Patrol Officers were investigating the Vape City break-in, we received another call for a commercial business alarm at the Depot Package Store on Church St. Responding units subsequently found the glass front door to be partially smashed however, no entry was gained into the liquor store. The surveillance video at both businesses confirm that the same two individuals committed both crimes. The Vape City Smoke Shop being first and the Depot Package Store second. The video below depicts the two suspects attempting to gain entry into the Depot Package Store. Only one of the two panes of glass was shattered, therefore preventing entry into the business. Please watch the video closely and call our anonymous tip line at (508)429-7145 if you have any information that could assist our agency. Both cases remain under active investigation by the Holliston Police Department Detective Unit.
