Elderly Woman Hurt After Being Struck By Car In Tewksbury
TEWKSBURY (CBS) -- A 77-year-old woman was hurt after being struck by a car in Tewksbury Thursday evening.
Police say the woman was hit on Main Street near St. William Church. She was taken to Lowell General Hospital after suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver stopped at the scene, police say.
Officers shut down a section of Main Street to investigate the pedestrian accident.
The accident remains under investigation.
