Norwood Resident Faces Drunk Driving Charges In Fatal Crash

NORWOOD (CBS) -- One person is dead in an alleged drunk driving crash in Norwood.

Police responded to the intersection of Walpole Street and Chickering Road shortly after 10p.m. on Thursday. Police say a car carrying four people ran a stop sign and smashed into another vehicle with only one occupant inside.

One person, a 32-year-old Norwood resident, was killed in the crash. Three others were injured and were transported to a nearby hospital.

The driver, identified as Harley Libby of Norwood, is facing multiple charges including OUI and motor vehicle homicide.

The incident is under investigation.
