Patrick Chung On Patriots' Loss: 'We'll Figure It Out'

BOSTON (CBS) -- The day after a losing effort is never fun at Gillette Stadium, so imagine how things will be Monday when the Patriots review film of their second straight loss.

The Patriots dropped their second straight game Sunday, 35-28 to the Philadelphia Eagles, the first time the team has suffered back-to-back losses in three years. The game was filled with uncharacteristically bad play by the New England special teams unit, who gave up a blocked punt returned for a touchdown and a punt return for a score. A trick onside kick in the second quarter also swung momentum of the game, leading to 35 unanswered points by Philadelphia.

While the sky may be falling for some following Sunday's loss, Patriots safety Patrick Chung is confident the team will right the ship.

"We'll figure it out," Chung told 98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich on Monday. "It's a game. There are good plays and bad plays. You can get better from good plays, and get way better from bad plays. It's a teaching process. You kind of just have to take it with a grain of salt; take the corrections and the criticism and go on with your life."

Chung also previewed his charity event this evening, his second annual Open Mic Karaoke Fundraiser to benefit his organization, Chung Changing Lives. He wouldn't say what songs he plans on singing up on stage, but said it's a fun way to help kids in need.

The event takes place at Splitsville and Howl at the Moon Patriot Place in Foxboro, and can get more info on his organization's website.

Chung also discussed practicing against the Eagles in the preseason, and wanted no part of Rich's question about Terrell Owens wanting to join the Patriots:
