Aaron Dobson Questionable For Monday Night With Back Injury

BOSTON (CBS) -- The Patriots are already without Julian Edelman, but they may grow even thinner at the wide receiver position.

The Patriots added Aaron Dobson to the injury report on Monday afternoon with a back injury, listing his status as questionable.

Dobson has not been an integral part of the Patriots' offense this season, catching just 12 passes for 124 yards and no touchdowns. Yet with Edelman lost for at least six weeks in last Sunday's game in New York, Dobson figured to get the opportunity to take an increased role in the offense.

Dobson was not listed at all on Saturday's final injury report, indicating the back injury is something new that perhaps popped up over the weekend.

With Edelman out, the Patriots have Danny Amendola and Brandon LaFell as the top two wide receivers. Keshawn Martin played decently in three games with the team before suffering an injury that has kept him off the field for the past four games, and he is listed as questionable for Monday night's game. The Patriots have also promoted undrafted rookie Chris Harper from the practice squad. He caught 15 passes for 150 yards and a touchdown in the preseason.

The Patriots (9-0) will host the Buffalo Bills (5-4) on Monday night at Gillette Stadium.
