Katie Nolan On Toucher & Rich: The NFL's 'Dumb' Policies On Uniform Violations & Domestic Violence

Katie Nolan has a serious problem with Toucher & Rich. She could not believe they would keep subjecting listeners (or themselves) to such grotesque nonsense, and wasted no time ripping into them for it.

She can't believe the guys get up so disgustingly early.

"I just woke up, what are you guys even talking about?" a groggy Nolan asked T&R after they asked her a question about the NFL's policies on uniform violations. But she was happy to join the show even at such an outrageous hour, adding that she would immediately go back to bed afterward.

The league has fined several players in recent weeks for wearing unapproved items on their uniforms, even though their intentions were to raise awareness on important issues, namely domestic violence and cancer awareness. The NFL donates player fines to a charity of their choosing and allows the opportunity for the players to match, which pretty much lets the league claim that their policies actually help domestic violence awareness.

Nolan offered up a brilliantly sardonic response when asked about it.

"I just completely agree that the way to raise domestic violence awareness we should be endorsing is by letting our athletes do the domestic violence, but they definitely should not be able to wear anything telling people it's bad, that's just bad for the league," joked Nolan. "So we should definitely fine people who are promoting the good side and helping people who have issues and problems with domestic violence. Doesn't that make perfect sense?"

That's when Nolan switched gears and ripped the NFL for its policies and behavior. "The league is dumb," she said to sum it up perfectly.

The guys also asked Nolan about her social media presence. She has become known for taking on trolls and bullies who try to smack-talk her, or just say horrible things - and often burns them back pretty badly - but she may need to slow down with roasting complete strangers on the internet.

"I've been told I've got to kind of stop if I want to keep my job!" she joked. "But it's tough when someone says something nasty, you kind of want to go at them but I usually only do it if they tee me up to perfectly make fun of them."
