Man Dies After Being Shot By Beverly Police Officer
BEVERLY (CBS) -- A man died after being shot by a police officer in Beverly on Saturday afternoon.
Police received a call about a disturbance at a Balch Street home around 3 p.m. When officers arrived on scene, they found a man ramming his car into another with his wife and friend inside.
Investigators say the man backed into two police cruisers. An officer shot the man in the shoulder, and he later died at the hospital.
The man has not been identified by police.
