Two More Arrests Made In Brutal Murder Of Marshfield Man

MARSHFIELD (CBS) – Two more people were arrested Friday in connection with the brutal murder of a man in Marshfield last month.

Michael Moscaritolo, an attorney from Quincy, and his girlfriend, Lauren Kalil, are now charged along with James Ferguson in the killing of 45-year-old Robert McKenna on September 16.

Investigators described a "horrific" scene inside McKenna's home on Damons Point Road. He was found dead from several stab wounds.

Police say McKenna had several weapons in the home that were stolen during the murder and robbery, including two assault rifles. Police have confiscated five weapons, four of which can be traced back to McKenna.

"This case is ongoing," said Plymouth DA Timothy Cruz. "The work is not over and will not be over until every person that is responsible is held accountable for their actions."

Moscaritolo, 34, was arrested at his home in Quincy and charged with murder and unarmed burglary. Kalil, 31, of Quincy, will be charged with accessory after the fact to murder. Moscaritolo and Kalil will be arraigned on Tuesday.

Ferguson was charged with murder and burglary charges and is currently being held without bail.
