The video, produced by Regan Communications, features Mayor Marty Walsh, Governor Charlie Baker, and Ed Freni, director of aviation at Massport, as well as interviews with professionals who touted the city’s performance during such difficult circumstances last winter.
“It’s cold. There’s definitely lots of snow,” said one professional. “But the city really took their game to the next level.”
The video shows sweeping shots of the Boston skyline as well as images of Fenway Park, Faneuil Hall, Boston Harbor, and more.READ MORE: Brookline schools closed Monday, Educators Union plans to strike
What you won’t see though are any images of winter. No snow, no ice, no plows.
In an interview with the Globe, the video’s producer Eric Cox said it was intentional.
“During the creative process we went back and forth. We can talk about [snow], but we don’t have to show it. People know what snow looks like.”
