James Corden Sings Carpool Karaoke With Stevie Wonder

LOS ANGELES (CBS) - Monday night on the “Late Late Show With James Corden,” the host was a bit nervous for this segment of Carpool Karaoke. The camera panned to the driver, who just so happened to be Stevie Wonder.

After Wonder revealed he didn’t have his license they decided to switch places. They drove off and Stevie began to show Corden that he had an English accent.

Wonder didn’t believe there wasn’t any of his music in the car, Corden then begins to play “Superstition.” As they continued to drive Stevie decided to FaceTime his wife as they began to jam out to “You Can Feel It Over.”

James then asks Stevie for a big favor and said, “My wife doesn’t believe that you’re going to be in the car with me today can we call her?” Stevie says, “Team work makes the dream work.”

Stevie puts on his English accent while talking to her and then serenades her with, “I Just Called to Say I Love You” as James got emotional. Even though Stevie forgot a word or two of “Isn’t She Lovely” they rocked out to it next and Stevie decided to FaceTime a friend.

He told his friend, James and I are going to form a group called The Wonder Cats. To end the trip they decided to begin practicing for their tour and sang “Signed, Sealed, Delivered.”
