Young Boy Drowns At Dennis Beach

DENNIS (CBS) -- A 4-year-old boy has died after being pulled from the water at a Cape Cod beach Friday afternoon.

Dennis police said they responded to a 911 call from Corporation Beach at about 5:35 p.m. for a possible drowning.

The boy was unresponsive after being pulled from the water by a bystander, and three people began performing CPR.

Rescuers transported the boy to a local hospital, where he died.

The boy's identity has not yet been released and police are still investigating the drowning.
