Which Young Red Sox Should Dombrowski Hold On To?
BOSTON (CBS) – There's a new man in charge of the Red Sox, and he has a track record of trading away prospects for proven talent.
Dave Dombrowski is Boston's new president of baseball operations, and when it comes to making moves to "win now," he's not afraid to trade away young players that fans have fallen in love with. That could lead to a very interesting winter for Boston's baseball team, which Marc Bertrand and Scott Zolak discussed on Thursday.
"His approach, I believe, and I don't necessarily agree with it, but my gut feeling is that nobody on this team will be off limits in the offseason," said Beetle. "He is going to be heartless and have zero feelings for, again, that sentimentality factor with players he didn't draft and develop when it goes to trying to turn this team around quick.
"If you hire him, you do it because one of his strongest abilities is to make trades," he added. "For him, everyone is in play for the right deal."

Mookie Betts
Jackie Bradley Jr.
"I think Betts is a keeper, but I don't trust Jackie Bradley Jr. yet. I need to see more of it and need to see it consistently," said Zo.
"Right now, Jackie Bradley Jr. needs to be in there every day and you figure out if he has two strong months to end the season, is that what he's become? Has he emerged and grown into that player?" added Bertrand.
Rusney Castillo
"He's been a dope at some points, but I think he can be a lot better," Bertrand said of Castillo.
Xander Bogaerts
"I think Bogaerts is untouchable," said Zolak.
