Israel: Shouted Down In The Muslim Quarter
This is part three of a ten-part series of mini-vids related to travel in Israel.
Israel is an exciting place to visit, in part because of the political and religious tension there. From the landmines and Hezbollah compound up on the Lebanese border and ISIS activity in the Syrian border town of Al Qunaitra, to the assault weapon packed old city of Jerusalem, it is a travel destination with an edge.
While walking near the Dung Gate in the Jerusalem, a group of Muslin women spotted me videotaping Jay Talking, and the began to chant loudly in my direction. They had something they wanted the world to know. Check it out. The women were just off to my right and I did not turn the camera on them as I did not want to antagonize them. It would have made me a crass tourist.
