Read & React: Tebow Scores In Preseason Debut

BOSTON (CBS) -- 98.5 The Sports Hub's Zolak and Bertrand went around the NFL on Monday in their weekly Read and React segment.

- Just a few days after Geno Smith had his jaw broken thanks to a punch by his now-former teammate IK Enemkpali, the Jets QB was throwing a football outside of his apartment in New York.

Jets head coach Todd Bowles wasn't very pleased, but it wasn't his comments that caught Zolak & Bertrand's ears. Zo thinks he hears a little "Ladies Man" in Bowles, while Beetle thinks there's some Prince in the new Jets head coach.

As for Geno throwing, Zolak wasn't a fan of the stunt.

"This kid is a putz," said Zolak. "It's one thing to go outside and want to test how you feel. This is outside his apartment complex, not at the Jet's complex, where he knows the paparazzi are hanging out. He goes out and puts on eye black, takes his first off, and then proceeds to throw the football. You tell me what's weird."

- Tim Tebow Scores In Preseason Debut For Eagles

Tim Tebow debuted for the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, going 6-for-12 for 69 yards and rushing for 15 yards, including a touchdown in the fourth quarter.

Zo and Beetle weren't impressed.

"He's going to take Michael Sam's roster spot up in the CFL. I can feel it. It's right around the corner," said Beetle.

- Philip Rivers Signs A Big Deal With Chargers

San Diego locked up their quarterback with a deal reportedly worth $83.25 million, including $65 million guaranteed. Zolak applauds the move by the Chargers.

"That's one you have to do if you're the Chargers. You have the guy who is your franchise quarterback," said Zolak. "This guy is the real deal. I've liked him since Day One."

-  Pop star Ciara talked about her relationship with Russel Wilson and their recent run at abstinence.

- Zo and Beetle Listen To The Trailer Of America's Game

It's all about the Patriots, so if you haven't seen it yet it's very much worth your time.
