Foxborough Man Tasered After Refusing To Leave Canobie Lake Park

SALEM, N.H. (CBS) -- Police tasered a man after he allegedly threatened employees at Canobie Lake Park and refused to leave.

According to police, Randy Lewis, 32, of Foxborough, Mass., demanded a refund from Guest Services after it began raining Saturday. When Guest Services employees denied him a refund because the park was not closing, Lewis allegedly yelled profanities and threatened the employees.

Police were called to the front gate shortly after 5p.m. When Lewis refused to leave, officers attempted to arrest him but could not handcuff him because he curled up on the ground and placed his arms under his body. Lewis' family screamed at officers as they used a taser to subdue him.

Lewis was was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and trespassing.  He was released on bail and is due in court in September.
