CHARLTON (CBS) — Charlton police are getting creative in their fight against illegal drugs – they’re offering to help drug dealers go after their competition.

“Are your Drug Dealing competitors cutting into your profits?” a form posted on the department’s Facebook page reads. “We offer a FREE service to help eliminate your competition.”

The form asks for the name, address and phone numbers of other drug dealers, and when and where they sell their product. They also request that the form be forwarded to the Charlton Police Department.

Police say the form is “satirical,” but do note that some of their informants are criminals themselves.
