Revere Marks One Year Since Tornado Ripped Through City
REVERE (CBS) -- City officials have unveiled a plaque marking one year since a tornado ripped through Revere.
The F2 tornado, which brought wind gusts of 100 to 200 mph, cut a two-mile path of destruction. An estimated 150 structures were damaged, including Revere City Hall. No one was injured.

Revere Mayor Dan Rizzo says people pulled together during the rebuilding process.
"It amazes me still to see the resiliency on the part of our neighbors and victims," said Rizzo.
The city did not receive federal disaster funding to rebuild the damage.
Geri Iavanna lost her home on Revere Beach Parkway because of storm damage. She's thankful no one was hurt.
"It's a blessing that nobody was killed," she said.
