Plymouth Woman Wants Precious Hospital Bracelets Returned

PLYMOUTH (CBS) – A Plymouth woman is asking the person that stole her wallet to return a pair of items that she saved as memories of her late son, who died as an infant.

Casey Paige Kilcup posted a note on Facebook that she hopes the person who stole her wallet from her car on Saturday will see.

Kilcup's son Brison was born on September 12 but died unexpected in January.

"Ever since he was born, all he did was smile," Kilcup told WBZ-TV.

According to Kilcup, the stolen wallet had inside it the first paycheck she had received after returning to work following Brison's death.

But it is not the money she wants returned.

Inside the wallet were two hospital bracelets. One belonged to Brison on the day he was born and the other was worn by Kilcup.

"Those bracelets were on my son and I the day he was born, the same son that passed away in January. Since then we have saved every item of his, and I carried those bracelets to remind me of how blessed I am to be the mother of an angel," Kilcup said in a Facebook post that has been shared nearly 3,000 times.

"So please if you see this, know that I will pray for you, I am so sorry for you and the difficult life circumstances you must face, but please, bring back my baby boys things, no questions asked, I already forgive you."

Kilcup said she wishes whoever stole the wallet would've knocked on her door and asked for the money because she says she is "honestly the type of person to hand out money to people in need."

On Tuesday, strangers were showing up to help Kilcup search for her wallet.

Anyone who may be able to help reunite Kilcup with the bracelets can call the Plymouth Police Department at (508) 830-4218.
