BOSTON (CBS) — Notorious entertainer Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has called it a wrap in Boston after months of filming in town for his upcoming movie, “Central Intelligence.”

Johnson took to Instagram Tuesday to thank the film’s production crew and the city.

“To every smiling face that greeted me, every handshake, every hug, every pound, every person who got the death stare when they interrupted my workout to every sweaty selfie I took of us, thank you!” he wrote.

“Thank you Boston for opening your arms and making me and my family feel like your family,” he added.

Johnson managed to make a few headlines while filming in the Bay State. In May, Johnson sideswiped an SUV belonging to a Wakefield man significantly damaging his vehicle. A photo later posted to Instagram shows suggested there were no hard feelings.
