Residents Shelter In Place Following Chemical Spill In Wrentham

WRENTHAM (CBS) -- Officials are on the scene of a chemical spill in a greenhouse in Wrentham.

Residents in the are were asked to shelter in place.

Police responded to a home on West St. shortly after 2p.m. for a reported chemical spill in an adjacent greenhouse. The type of chemical is unclear, but police say there's a high potential for explosion and pesticide exposure.

Authorities said other unknown products and blasting caps, commonly used for small explosive devices, were found.

Hazmat technicians and the bomb squad are on the scene. There are no injuries.
