NATICK (CBS) — Police in Natick are asking residents to be on alert after reports of an animal attack.
Two people reported being attacked by an animal described as either a gray fox or coyote on Saturday evening in a residential area, Natick police said in a Facebook post.

Residents say despite being a busy street, animals are found roaming the area often.
READ MORE: Friday Marks First Anniversary Of Boston Biogen Conference Super Spreader Event“It’s definitely pretty dark at night and I’ve seen things running around,” one resident told WBZ-TV. “It’s definitely concerning, there are a lot of young children and pets in the area I would really be concerned.”
Environmental police responded, but haven’t yet found the animal.

“This animal is aggressive and is quite possibly not healthy,” Natick police said. “If you see this animal call 911 immediately.”
