Tyler Seguin's Nude Photo Shoot Reveals Faded Stanley Cup Tattoo ... On His Butt

BOSTON (CBS) -- ESPN's "Body Issue" always generates national interest every year, for a number of reasons. Many of them don't go much further beyond people saying, "Hey, look. That person I know from sports isn't wearing any clothing. How about that?" Occasionally, that interest extends to the realm of, "Ha! Prince Fielder, swinging a bat, naked. Classic!" That's about the extent of it.

This year, no major professional Boston athletes* fill the pages of the issue, but one former Bostonian does make an appearance -- and he reveals a little more than anticipated.

(*Olympic gymnast and Massachusetts native Aly Raisman is also in the issue. Jermaine Jones, Team USA soccer player and member of the New England Revolution, is also in the magazine.)

Tyler Seguin, former member of the Bruins and currently a member of the Dallas Stars, appears in the issue in various poses, which include lounging on a Zamboni (while enjoying a Popsicle) and standing in the shower while holding a giant rubber duck.

But the photo of real interest involves Seguin standing on ice, gearing up to take a shot. It's on this photo that Tyler's tuchus is exposed, and and it's on his right cheek that a faded image of what appears to be the Stanley Cup can be seen.

You can see the picture here, if you'd like. Or you could just take my word for it. I know butts aren't for everyone.

It certainly looks like the Stanley Cup, right? So, did he deeply regret this ink and move to have it removed from his keister via lasers?!

He didn't address the Faded Butt Cup in his interview, but he did say this about his ink: "I don't think there's anything I've ever done that I regret. Like my love for tattoos. Every tattoo has some sort of relevance to me. My favorite one is probably the one on my ribs -- just because it says 'Stanley Cup Champion.' Every tattoo has a purpose. I can have a conversation with someone for about 20 minutes going through the meaning of them all."

Well, Tyler, we'd like to have that conversation. What's up with your butt?
