'Masshole' Now Recognized By Oxford English Dictionary
BOSTON (CBS) -- A derisive name for Bay Staters is now officially in the dictionary.
The Oxford English Dictionary has announced that 'Masshole" is one of about 500 new words being added this year.
The noun is defined as "A term of contempt for: a native or inhabitant of the state of Massachusetts."
Other words joining Masshole in the dictionary this year include shizzle, cisgender, yarn bombing and twerking.
