John Kerry Released From MGH, Will Continue Recovery In Boston

BOSTON (CBS) — Secretary of State John Kerry was released from Massachusetts General Hospital Friday afternoon. He will continue his recovery at home in Boston.

In a press conference outside of the hospital on Friday, Kerry thanked his medical team for the care he received.

Kerry fractured his right femur in a bike crash May 31 in France.

He was flown back to Boston and had surgery June 2 at MGH.

Kerry lives in Louisburg Square on Beacon Hill.

Kerry said he will be travel to Vienna in the coming days to continue the strategy meetings he had scheduled prior to his injury.
