Felger & Mazz: Warriors Supporters Starting To Change Tune?

BOSTON (CBS) - "Are any of you Warriors people beginning to change your minds?" 98.5 The Sports Hub's Michael Felger asked Wednesday afternoon to begin the show.

The Golden State Warriors, who entered the NBA Finals as 2-to-1 favorites over the Cleveland Cavaliers, find themselves in a 2-1 deficit through three games, in a series in which they've never really been ahead or in control.

LeBron James and the Cavaliers are out-muscling, out-hustling and outplaying Stephen Curry and the Warriors.

"This Golden State team has no answer for anyone in the paint. They were as tight as a team as I've ever seen watching sports," said headlines guy Jim Murray. "[The Warriors] have no answer for a defense like that. None. It's shocking to see. The Warriors are in big trouble. They really are."

Steve Kerr's squad appears wildly overrated, or at the very least not ready for the big stage that comes with playing in the NBA Finals. For Felger & Mazz executive producer James Stewart, this Warriors team reminds him of a recent Boston sports foe.

"They're the Vancouver Canucks, that's who the Golden State Warriors are. Soft as puppy poo," added Stewart, referring to their 2011 Stanley Cup Finals matchup with the Boston Bruins.

Tony Massarotti agrees with the comparison.

"It's a good analogy. I think Golden State is going to win the next game. I do. But that game last night? That team was gutless. They were soft. They were a bunch of sissies in that game. They got completely slapped around. Cleveland clamped on them and they didn't fight back," added Mazz.
